Position: Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Sacramento, CA

Pay: $30 - $35 per hr.

About the Role:
Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a desire to grow within a dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

  • Process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed

  • Assist with audits and financial statement preparation

  • Perform variance analysis and support financial reporting

  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and GAAP

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate)

  • Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and time management abilities

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
